Well, I think it's safe to say I gave myself quite a good butt-whipping...
I feel so embarrassed and cringe every time I look at that old picture, thinking it was such a good drawing and I was so pro at the time I drew it... 8U I had such an ego back then //SHOT Anyways, some info!
2008 drawing: I drew this piece of poo on Christmas Eve and tried to base it off Konata from Lucky Star.What in the flying fuck was I thinking? I even thought this was really good back then adkjfleakldjfleald But then again I was just 12 ;3;
2011 drawing: So, after seeing the eye-sore of a drawing the old one was, I decided to redraw it with the intentions of making a messy sketch. Well, the sketch turned into an almost perfect lineart... so then I decided to scan and ink it in Sai... and that led to theawful coloring... and now we have this. >8T
So yeah, seeing how one improves is definitely a confidence booster and fun to see. In a matter of 2 and a half years I've improved in art so much, and I'm proud to say it's because I've worked hard. To get somewhere, one must begin somewhere. And it is definitely a journey every artist should take.
